Thinking about buying this 335i..but there is one problem with it help please :)
Basically the 335 has bulges out of the tires which is the only problem, I am just thinking of buying it and replacing the tires but can someone tell me how these bulges can come about on tires? Did the person drive it a certain way or do something?? Also if anyone can run a carfax report for me that would be great please let me know if you can or not

Potholes, improper inflation, heat.... any or all of the above.
If the car is good otherwise, then you can bargain em down, or sell the old wheels and just get a new set of rims/tires.

If you're buying the car from a dealer, insist on tire replacement or no deal. I would think they'd take care of that for you, especially if you tell them you feel it's a serious safety hazard, which it potentiall is. You might also want to ask if the previous owner had wheel & tire insurance. Not sure if it's transferrable or not but certainly worth a try. Good luck!

if the bubbles are the only things wrong with the car and its in your price range.. then go for it...
just make sure to replace the tires asap, preferably to non-rft you should negoiate the price down by at LEAST $1000 using the tires as a bargaining chip. |

Same problem exists with non runflat tires as well. It seems that some tires are more prone to this than others. I remember that the Conti Sport contacts that came OEM on the B6 S4s was also prone to the this problem as well.
