You should check out CarWow. I got 24% last August and I know there are others who got an even better deal. No harm in trying out as it'll give you a view of the kind of deals that's around.

You just missed some great deals. BMW were offering 0% finance recently, and they offered a good deal for me to get out of a 2-year old 5 Touring into a brand new one. Keep your eyes and ears open... maybe they will repeat it in a few months

The car had to be registered and delivered before the end of July, so you could only buy from the list of cars available from stock, but it worked out well for me. |

OK, probably why I missed it. Not seen any stock / pre owned with the spec I'm after. Discounts seem OK at the moment and can live with 2.9% though

Check out Carwow. I didn't buy through them but used their price to negotiate the same deal with a local dealer. I got 22% off a new 530d Xdrive and 2.9%, though that was a saloon not a touring. Maybe there are better deals out there, but I'm happy with that.
Of course you could wait and see if there are better deals later, but then again there might not! I looked at it as a bird in the hand etc, etc! Last edited by SpencerP; 09-08-2018 at 10:19 AM.. |

The approach I took was to find and print off the best deal I could find from an internet site, then take that down to my local dealer. They instantly matched the quote, and did the same deal for me. The bonus of this is that I keep the relationship with my local dealer whilst still getting the car at a price I wanted to pay. They did hit me a little on my p/x but nothing too bad.
