That is a nice looking piece of kit! Question though - what is that dimpled section for? I imagine it's not just for aesthetics, but being it's a catless DP, it has me wondering.

*edit* Nevermind. I just saw your post about it still having a sport cat.

Definitely going to need a sound clip after the install.

It is catted. 200 or 300 count if I remember correctly. I think it's a heat shield, but cant say 100%. And I will definitely have a video up shortly of how it sounds paired with the mpe and dinan midpipe.

Great sound btw, would definitely get it if I can delete the cold start (without a flash)

Sounds epic! I compared with other vids on YouTube showing stock vs. MPE only, and this is definitely night and day. No CEL, I presume?

Yes it is. It is exactly what I have been looking for, it is super aggressive in sport and sport plus. No CEL so far. Fingers crossed!!!

Maybe for some, the cold start might be deal breaker for those who would have issues with it being too loud for significant others in the AM... Fortunately, I had performance exhausts in the last couple of cars so my wife and kids were used to the cold startups. They just rolled their eyes and chuckled when I upgraded my current m240 to MPE.

My 200 CEL ER DP gives me CEL's. Easy fix with the JB4 tho. As for cold start if you lightly press the gas as soon as you start it up and hold it for 15-20 seconds you can avoid that obnoxiously loud period.

Did you also extend out the o2 sensor or just the jb4? I have the dinan tune so hopefully I won’t have any issues.

I just have a catless DP with stock exhaust and the cold start sounds terrible. My neighbors across the street have started to pop their heads up and look at my car now when I start it. Can't wait to flash it and get rid of it. And no need for it now, without a cat.

I have had the full exhaust installed now since February of this year and have not had a single one pop. It’s a high quality piece and highly recommend it if you feel like spending over 1k on the DP

Loving mine so far myself. Cold start is hella loud. My neighbors officially hate me...
