Thalatta Has Reached Port
I'm f***ng hyperventilating.
i'm jk but I am extremely excited. I swear christmas as a 9 year old was easier than this. Thalatta has finally arrived and docked at Port Hueneme as of this morning. Meaning, California (and probably surrounding areas) deliveries are going to be going crazy the next 2-7 days. Port installs for diffuser, mp steering wheel, trunk lip/spoiler, and IMO the absolute must.. pedals. Then a quick drive up Highway-5 towards northern california. I've made a bay area post already, but once everyone takes deliveries, would be down to do a meet to get a few videos/shots of everyone m2c together. either way, cheers to deliveries this and next week. |

This is where it all fell apart last time I ordered a car. I won't be excited until mine leaves the Port on its way to Portland. And then I'll be jealous of everyone who lives closer to the Port...for a few days.

The car I ordered got stuck at VPC and my salesperson failed to look into why despite repeated requests that he do so. I ended up escalating with his manager, switching to another salesperson, and buying a different car that was almost what I wanted (but not quite). I found out later that the car got damaged in transit, badly, and that the guy could have found that out at any time. The whole thing was really disappointing.

Welp. No VPC delay this time. My SA just called and it's on a truck. I can finally let myself get excited about this whole thing.

Glad it's working out well this time around. My SA told me that he would only be able to find out once the car LEAVES the port and is in transit. Otherwise he "can't check anything until then". |

For the guys on this ship, how long was the time from docking to delivery for you? My ship should be at Port Hueneme in a little over 24 hours and curious how many more days it might be.

My car was at the dealership in Portland yesterday morning after arriving at Port Hueneme last Tuesday. I'm headed out in a few to go and sign my life away or, possibly, chicken out. One or the other.

Do the pedals yourself... way cheaper. You need a drill and some basic hand tools.

thanks for the info. I think delays everywhere are common. My last one sat in long beach for almost a week. |
