Anyone getting floor mats?
My car should come in around November, looking for good floor mats for it I'm wondering if my best bet is the m performance mats?

M performance mats look the business - they give it a plush and premium look too. Downside is they get dirty quick - and not so good in wet weather. I prefer the all weather mats - easy to keep clean, and works well with wet shoes.

Quite honestly, I'm using WeatherTech for daily use and then have the OEM mats stored so I can toss them in when I want the car to look it's best. Living in Seattle we have too much rain and pollen to leave cloth mats in the car.

but the m3/m4 m performance floor mats look the same to me thus m2 should follow suit and not get a new design I would do weathertech or oem. if you do MP floor mats, get them at the dealer. That way you get to keep your oem. |

I have the M performance mats. They're nice, but like yawn said, they do get dirty quick. I also have WeatherTech but I'm using the M performance mats right now.

We tried WeatherTech mats, in 3 different cars, custom in each case. I know they advertise -- a LOT -- but in our experience they never fit well enough, shifted around, warped, and in the case of our 1M, could get in the way of the accelerator pedal which is totally unacceptable (not safe). Never again.
And when we called WeatherTech to discuss the issues, they never responded with the RMA or any other solution as they said they would. We'll stick with the mats that are included with our M2C upon pick-up (in 20 days!) and maybe buy another set while we are the Welt. What surprises me re: mats is how often the dealers don't have them installed in the car, although in those cases they are almost always easily spotted wrapped in plastic in the trunk. Yet the sales staff encourages buyers to get in the car and thus put their shoes on the carpet. Regardless of the weather. Maybe I'm just a prince, but I always wear slip-ons when we go to look at vehicles, and I slip my shoes off before I sit in it. Pants and shirt stay on.

I'm not a fan of weathertech's so I purchased a set of these. I haven't put them in the car yet but initial impressions is that they are very nice and don't look like an appliance mod like the weathertech's.

I was actually just finalizing my WeatherTech installation today. After pulling the OEM mats and storing them, I've installed these. Nice touch that some other forums members had was to create ///M logos to replace the WeatherTech logos - a VERY simple and inexpensive modifications. I also added some industrial strength Velcro strips on the backs of the driver and passenger mats to line up with the OEM velcro that is sewn into the carpets, thereby making the new mats even more likely to stay exactly where the belong.

I ordered these and they told me the order was lost in transit and asked if I wanted a refund or for them to remake/ship. I responded and it's been 2 weeks and they still haven't gotten back to me.
