TDi tuning box

Has anyone had a problem with their TDi tuning box
My cars 2 years old and lights up the dash when I fitted it. In fact it's the second TDi box I've tried. Both did the same thing???
I Followed the procedures not that it's particularly difficult
With the box fitted it won't power the box or start the car amongst various fault messages.
If I take it off the cars back to normal once again.
Any ideas

Not had any issues with any of the boxes I've tried - the only thing that can happen is putting the boost connector on the wrong way round, other than that pretty straightforward as you say.

Have you spoken with TDi?

No issues with mine and it's been on and off the car a few times for servicing etc.

Weird mine just doesn't like it?
The boost connection is difficult to get to maybe I'm not connecting to it correctly?

You can inadvertently fit the connector on the wrong way round as it will go in both ways, I'd double-check that connector before writing off the box completely

What car is it? It does sound like something isn't connected up right.

I went to their offices for fitting, so I always knew it was done right from the start, and then took videos and pics prior to removal so I could be sure of doing it exactly right again.

I think I'm connecting to the wrong connection
I've just seen a video on YouTube and it looks like I'm connecting the boost connector to the rpm sensor which is not needed on this box

What power did your TDi boxed cars make. Are they like they advertise?

Setting 7 is crazy rapid, but it did give me a drivetrain warning after a couple of weeks. Setting 6 is still bloody quick but hasn’t given any warnings.

It looks like a really good kit especially with the Bluetooth to change the settings.

Mine doesn’t have BT, but it’s not difficult to open the bonnet and press the buttons on the box.

My 330e showed around 290bhp in the Dyno, so about 40bhp increase. Less than the 300bhp advertised, but not a bad gain give the underlying petrol engine only contributes 180bhp to start with, so an extra 20% is fine.

I reckon they're probably 5-10% under where they claim to be. On the 30d you're probably looking at 300ish bhp as opposed to the 320bhp they state.

You have a 35d I take it? If so I'd imagine you'll see 360bhp easy enough.
