Boss Audio low profile 8"s

Hey guys. I am looking for a little more bass. I saw the Earthquakes, and might go that way.

I came across this on circuit city.

I've never heard of Boss Audio. Then again I know little about audio stuff. It looks like a powered subwoofer that wouldn't take up much space.

My questions are:
1) is this any good?
2) do you think it would fit where the stock subs are? I haven't seen how those are place down there. I wasn't sure if the box could fit in place of the stock enclosure.
