Coding out iTunes default?

When I use Bluetooth audio, iTunes seems to play by default and will not allow Bluetooth audio to run with my other apps(I heart radio, other streaming services)....anyone know ho to keep iTunes from running by default?....Is it possible to code for no iTunes default on Bluetooth audio to allow other apps to run....iTunes does not run by default on my F13 640i nor my E92 M3....help!

No clue - iPhones have done this on every BMW and Honda I've owned.

(OK - my current Honda goes to Car Play, but I don't like that either)
