Finally saw an M2c in Hockenheim Silver...

It's not white! I repeat, Hockenheim Silver is not white! Like others said, it more of a very light grey and looked really cool. When you get up close to the paint you can see all the metallic flake in it. Pictures don't do the color justice. I tried to find mismatches in paint on different panels, but couldn't. I did however notice that the bumper looked a bit off, but that's not because of a paint mismatch. The color is very dynamic, the bumper seemed off and then I walk around and change my perspective and it matched perfectly.

Thanks for the pics. Like many I have a HKS on order and have not seen it in person. Glad to hear it doesn’t appear white as others have said. I am hoping a HKS gets delivered in the mid Atlantic area before mine in early October.

Thanks for the pics!

I almost chosen HKS since I really like the color. I understand its not a fully white car but very close to it. If my previous M3 was not AW I would of selected it.

But in the end I chose LBB for something different.

In the pics above, it's parked next to an AW car. Maybe it's just the pics but I don't see how it's very close to white.

Looks like AW to me in the pics LOL kidding, definitely not AW in person, its gray but too metallic / pearl for my taste.

Its funny how once again BMW came out with a launch color that it's hard to tell what the color is in photos, have to see it in person.

It's not even close to white, look at the white shipping tape on the car.

I understand it may be different than white but I’ve owned 6 white cars in the past and own a white Tacoma currently. HKS is just too close to white for me that I need a drastic change thus selecting LBB.

Those are the bicolour wheels, not the 'black' ones (?)

It IS outside - towards the back of the main lot, towards the back left if that makes sense.

Tag is right - there is NO hint of white in the color, and that's why I took the pics the way that I did.

I really like the color, almost a bluish or purple-ish hue to it in the early morning sunlight, and with some moisture on it. I can't tell if I like the wheels with the HS or not, still undecided on that front - my F80 is AW, so I tried to get a few angles where you could see how drastic of a difference there is between the colors.

Check out the pics in my recent post - very distinctive from AW - HS is a very cool color. Can't wait to see it all shined up...

According to the VIN, yes they are S2QTA 19" LM Rad Y-Speiche 788M bi-color wheels. Personally I prefer the black wheels 29U which in itself is a misnomer as they are not really black. They just have a shadow tint on the machined face of the wheels, but are otherwise the same finish on the barrels.

I have now seen an M2C in person as well. (HS from Bill Jacobs BMW)

HS is definitely not white. I would say its, Gray, Silver, and Blue all in one. Its suffers the same paint issue as Sunset Orange and even LBB to a degree. Change the light, and the color changes.

I like the color

The 788M wheels imho opinion look much better in person. As Tag has stated, these are the bi-color. I will be very happy with the Black versions

I even like the grill!

I will wait until i get the car to make the call on the muffler. Just like the M3/M4 its in your face.

Listen to the Stones to help you make your decision on the muffler.

Great comparison pics. Definitely shuts down the HS is white argument.
