all season run-flats? maybe a Q for gary..

I have a 2006 e90 with the sports package, the staggered 162's. 225/40/18 up front, 255/35/18 in the rear

My runflats are getting a bit thin-skinned and I'm looking for a more all-season solution to my tires. I have a summer/winter set right now, but I really have no need for summer tires, its not like I'm out racing or anything. Some performance all-season would be more than enough to handle my sometimes spirited driving.

Anyway, so far my only options for all-season that fit my needs are non-rft. I'm ok with that, but is there any word on whether more rft options will be out? Having no spare makes me nervous, although I do have the conti repair kit (similar to the m mobility one bmw sells).

Will my options change in the next 2-3 months or should I just suck it up and get non rft's? (which do ride a bit nicer)

Unfortunately we see no all season runflats on the horizon in these sizes, sorry.

Go non-RF. You will not look back.

I have, and I carry a spare with me on long trips. Otherwise, I keep an air pump in the car.
