Grrr.....nicked "M" emblem on wheels
Washing wifeys car last night and noticed that some wee scrote has hoked out the little rectangular "M" badges from 2 of the wheels
What is wrong with people ffs I have seen loads of these on ebay but they don't look genuine or indeed, are probably being sold by the tool bags that nick them Does anyone know if these are available from BMW and if so, what the product code and cost is? Cheers J |

I bought 4 off eBay a few years ago and they cost next to nothing. If they were not genuine then I literally couldn't tell. Think I paid £5 for set of 4.

It's amazing what gets stolen from a BMW. Back some time ago BMW's came with metal tyre valve caps. Within a few months all 4 got stolen. I replaced with the standard plastic and never had another problem.

I've had a couple fall off whilst off cleaning / jetwashing. Luckily I found them and glued them back on...with a small spot of superglue. Little feckers won't come off again

Had a wheel refurbished at BMW and they put the M badge on upside down. That had to be taken off and a new one stuck on. The manager had to authorise the new part which was about £6-7. He peeled off the backing and it is adhesive backed, and just stuck it on (the correct way round).

I find that the emblems usually fall off refurbised wheels because the surface is too shiny for the glue to stick properly, so it’s best to rough up the surface with some fine wet n dry paper, then clean with alcohol before sticking replacements on.
