anyone selling below MSRP yet?

Are allocation shard to come by for this thing? I see several listed for sale but i don't think any are on the ground to look at. I want to drive one in person and compare with the F80 M3.

i am actually in chicago for work this week and next. the LBB car was delivered this morning before i had the chance to see it. i saw it listed today and called this afternoon ... too late. Laurel BMW has at least 3 OG M2s in stock but I want to drive a M2C and compare with the outgoing M3.

Doubt that will be the case, at least in most markets but we will see. It appears BMW will handle allocations similar to what they have done with the M2 which is trickle them out so they are not sitting on lots. Car sales (not including CUV, SUV and trucks) are tanking big time so it will be interesting to see if the M2C is impacted by this trend. I also wonder if most of the M2 demand has already been met because clearly the M2 is a niche car, a good niche but a niche nonetheless.

Yes I think many people that wanted an M2 already bought one. Demand will be lower because the car is late in the cycle, costs more, and does not sound good to some.

I highly doubt that they will let you test drive the m2c tho. They wouldn't even let me test drive the OG m2...maybe 3-4 months ago. But maybe that's because I wasn't really aggressive about it.

There was some guy on here trying to dump his allocation about a week ago (he had a $1K deposit) and last I saw he had 100 or so views and 0 responses. Not saying that car isn't sold by now, but it says something...

Must have come in on Monday or Tuesday - I was over there on Sunday poking around because I want to see HS in the flesh - so funny that many of the early cars aren't HS...

I am sure that mindset will change if the early non-customer ordered cars sit for a while...we shall see.

My guess, in 4-6 months meaning into 2019 FY, BMW raises M2C MSRP by $1000, gives back in the form of incentives; so dealers still stick to MSRP and everyone happy thinking at least I can get M2C under MSRP after incentives

BMWNA sales dept. all the way from VP level are smarter than us

I just checked on Autotrader, there are 10 M2Cs incoming. There was one private party selling a brand new AW for a $10,000. mark up.

Why are you mad? If someone pays it they pay it. When I sold my first house my initial listing was 20k more then I thought I could get. I ended up getting 13k more then I ever thought. Start high and go down from there.

Hard to tell how many of those are already client cars. A lot of times they show up in the system, even if they are already spoken for. What I find odd is there is still over 400 brand new 2018 M2's sitting on lots. One of my local dealers has 5 OG M2's. They are one of dealers that told me no msrp on new comp. Screw them, good luck selling your 1 year old M2's suckers.

Also, laurel bmw westmont says they have their first 5 already sold. My guess is many of the ones in the first batch are spoken for. The next round of allocations will be when we start seeing some inventory. I don't think demand will be as strong as it was for the og m2 though, but that's me speculating.
