Tint Pricing

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering what everyone was paying for a ceramic tint job. I was quoted $475 by Song's Tint Master in LA for Huper Optik. Is this a fair price?

Thanks!

That's a rip! Got mine done for under $400 (no windshield). Tint Plus FTW.

475 is fair. Songs does quality work. Ceramic isn't cheap.

I've used Songs as well. Had the windshield done as well with the clear ceramic. Makes whole lot of difference with temps running in the 80s / 90s now.

Sounds about right when I had it done on my e46. That was quite a few years back, so if that's what the going rate is now a days, I'd say go for it.

I had mine done at SunDimmers with Formula One Pinnacle for $375 (not including windshield). I was quoted $250 by a place called Black Diamond. They did not use ceramic tint, they used something called Global QDP which he said would not interfere with CA, but I was skeptical.

Hi Everyone,

I won't be getting comfort access, and my question is does non-ceramic tint reduce the distance of car remote?

I went with Formula One's Premier series (metallic) 12 years ago and it still looks like when it was new.

Is there any particular reason to go ceramic besides when I won't have comfort access besides latest tint technology?

thanks
