Any material M2C changes for 2019 calendar year planned?
Can anyone please confirm whether any material changes planned for M2C 2019 production. Reason I ask is I've been offered a cancellation allocation to take delivery early October. My current M2 PCP/lease is up for renewal in March 2019 so I wasn't looking to change. It's tempting to take delivery of one of the first M2Cs. I've previously bought M4 just before Comp Pack launched and M2 before LCI introduced, all before I joined this forum. I'd like to avoid being caught out again. Appreciate any feedback.

I heard rumours about a 4 speed unsynchronised gearbox an 45cm drum brakes around.

I think 18 to 19 is the only step change OP in seriousness. Differing engine is obviously fundamental. I can sense a special coming with the majority of the M Perf parts installed (this bumping price up by about 10k).
I would take the car available, holding on is an endless pursuit, there is always something better around the corner. You have to live life now, seize the day..YOLO

Get the allocation, don't worry about what is happening next year...
There is always something new coming but it never is up to level we all want here so. In the end, they bump the price with 10K and add some new stuff that is not worth the cash. MR |

Exactly. Get the car now. The more you wait the more expensive cars will be for the car you don’t want. Plus regulations and green house gas emissions are getting more and more strict that cars in the future won’t be so fun to drive. Ie autonomous cars, CO2 standards. Etc.

California regulators are pushing full Light duty EV cars by the next 15 years or so. California has its own rules since we have a EPA waver to set our own standards and regulations. I would not wait any longer. I said this many times. Cars in the future will not be saught after.
