Rubbing issue, 20" wheel member please help!
Is this possible?
20" wheel offset 33 F 34 R 245 Front and 285 Rear will this rub before lower? will this rub after lower to maybe 1 finger space between fender and tires. and if after lower do I have to run negative camber or fender job? Last edited by kson929; 06-25-2008 at 01:10 PM.. |

My guess is that this set up will work with rolled fenders and narrow type tires, like Toyo.

Ok. First off what are the widths of the wheels? Also what model E90/E92/E93
I have an E90,If you run a 20x8.5 with a 245/30 you should be fine I ran 30 offset front and had no rubbing pre-lower or after lowering, my drop was about 1.4 inch. As for the Rear I am running A 20X10 with a 285/25 tire and that was a 30mm offset as well and I had no rubbing on stock suspension but a minor rub once I lowered the car and just a minor roll took care of that. So if you have an E90 you should be fine with the setup. The only time I ever expercienced any rubbing was super hard compression like pulling into a driveway, but i never had any issues on normal driving. |

Did you know that factory spec is NEGATIVE camber in the rear? lol.. dont worry man, its not gonna eat up your tires as bad as you think. I've been running -2.0 camber ( factory spec still) for 4months now and my rear tires are still 9/32nds. I have 20's also, 245/30/20 front 285/25/20 rears. My car is lowered on H&R sport springs. alot of people have the same setup. With the sport springs, the drop is perfect, just barely hovering over the fender, and NO rubbing. I just went to the club last night, 4 people in the back seat, NO rubbing on the highway and over bumps. good luck though!
