For some reason I never found them to be that bad on gas .. I drove my f10 from ny to Orlando and would do 5 hours or so on one full tank driving at 80-90 mph the whole way. I don’t know if that’s bad but to me it wasn’t lol

No too bad at highway speeds, but horrible in the city, in stop-and-go traffic, or any other types of driving with frequent acceleration.

Yea that's the problem i'm seeing. I drive mostly city/suburb miles that require alot of stop and go acceleration etc.. I can't seem to get more than 13mpg for most of that.

Different sized Gallons

In the USA 30mpg is 7.84l/100km

But he is talking about Imperial Gallons which means 30mpg for him equals 9.42l/100km

You pay to play as they say.

And 13MPG is not that terrible for a 600HP car.

There's just something about all the post E39 models that's missing the whole sleeper saloon spin your rear tires thrill to it.

I like the M5's, but I get more excited about seeing a lemans e39 m5 than I would if I saw a F10 or E60 M5, that's just me though, either way still love seeing a 4 door family car whipping around its rear end

By the way, I have met a F90 owner (who has daily driven the car, one of the first to get it here, he has put 1600 miles already). He told me with Brazilian Premium Gas (99 oct), he is averaging 16-17 mpg in Efficient (with start stop) in the city, and 27-29 mpg in the highway (very civilized driving).
