Port options now available

Just an FYI, but I just found from my SA that many of the port options are now in the order system. Aka - you can add them to your order.

On the online configuration tool or just internal to them?

In that thread we can see that the front splitter is not listed.

I'm interested to see if it becomes available soon. Doing some digging today I noticed the M Performance configurator for the M2 BMW recommends the rear spoiler be installed with the corresponding front end downforce element — to maintain balance front and rear.

That may affect whether I order the rear spoiler now for port install, or wait until later when I can have both pieces installed in one trip.

CF spoiler also on a SO M2c. IMO, SO must have black wheels!

Looks like the list is basically everything but the new carbon pieces. Where is the new grill, roof, hood, trunk, fenders, splitter? Some of them should be available.

I am quoting MR

I think this list needs an update to fit all the parts on it that are coming.

MR
Maybe now that it's on the internal system someone with dealer access can update the full list.

Called CA, they only have the normal parts that were available for the original M2.

The Carbon Roof, Hood, Fender and Trunk are not available yet.

Not all of the parts are in the internal system. My post more of a heads up to those that may want parts installed at the port. None of these where available when I put my order in.

Gotcha! Yeah nothing was available when I built mine.

Got excited when you posted this, thought all the Carbon bits were already in the system!

Same here. When I finalized port-installed options, that was not available, so I passed on the rear trunk lip. Hoping to get both installed at the same time when available through the dealer, and maybe even get a better discount.

Did you see the SO 240 in the showroom when you were at Bill Jacobs today?

That was the first time I have seen it in person, when clean, and in the sunlight (it was next to a window). The color surprised me a little - I don't think I would ever get it, but I can see why someone would like it.

Have you ever used these guys in Maryland?

getmybmwparts.com

Got all my CF OEM bits from them for my M3 - free shipping and definitely the best prices I could find.

Yes! Getbmwparts.com is amazing. I'll definitely see if I can order from them or price match through a local dealer.

I totally missed that. Was with a friend who was looking at some X cars. Then stepped outside and saw the M2c and was like Get... Out!

I saw it at Bill Jacobs last week. I was looking for SO cars on cars.com.

Napleton's Aston Martin of Chicago has had a SO M240 for weeks.
