National M5 Stop Sale

I called my dealer to pull the trigger on a 2018 M5 and was told there has been a nation wide stop sale on all M5s.

Has anyone else heard of this?

Thanks.

Do you mean stop sale as in halting all the sales activities over M5? Like ban from selling?

I stopped in today to look at a new M5 my dealer just received and it was in service having a fuel gauge line repaired due to some minor recall. I think it has something to do with the fuel gauge error some people have reported. It seemed very minor.

My dealer received a new M5 on Thursday with a stop sale order on it, sold it that day, and the new owner drive it off on Friday morning. Apparently this zip tie fix is fairly simple.
