Not sure if this exact car is but in the Wheel comparo thread there are 4 confirmed vins and pics of their finish.

The exhaust note wouldn't have stopped me from buying an M2C, but that sure sounds like someone shaking a bag of empty aluminum cans.

Have an OG M2 and I don't think it sounds deeper than that - different tone for sure, but not deeper...
