Didn't realize there was an event this weekend, that would explain the amazing sounding M6 DTM I saw driving towards Den Haag on saturday evening! Can't wait for the 8 to hit dealers so I can get an in person look, fantastic photos Joop!

Many thanks for posting - superb quality photographs. I like the orange with black leather, but my wife says no and it has to be sapphire black with Fiona red/black interior! We'll see, but I think she'll win.

Not a huge fan of the overall cars design, BUT.... this color looks fantastic on ANY car! Love that paint.

It was posted there's less room in the rear than the M4.
Not sure how that's possible but wish they took pics of someone sitting in the rear.

Doesn't even look like a BMW to me. Looks like an Infiniti coupe. I think these photos are also very saturated as sunset orange doesn't look like that in person it's significantly darker and duller.

Not exaggerating when I say the interior looks more befitting of the M4's price point. The black/aluminum treatment doesn't help but still. Plastic buttons everywhere, boring design, smh.
 I just don't see how it measures up to any of the competitors at its price. |

so what exactly is an ///M850i ?
a standard 8series with M-performance parts? i really do not understand the 'slutting around' of the ///M logo on non-Mcars

Does anyone else think the new 8 series looks similar in design of the old 2005 645i? The reason I said that because the trunk design is very much the same (a lot of trunk
 . Me personally is not a fan of this new 8 series!! It's sad to say. |
