No M Sport (NOT M Sport X) In USA?
I'm surprised I don't see any posts discussing the M Sport as compared to the M Sport X packages. It appears as though the X2 "M Sport" isn't coming to the US, and we only get the "Standard" and "M Sport X" packages. I don't care for the gray plastic trim the M Sport X has. The body color trim on the M Sport is much nicer.
My guess is this will either be a 2019 MY upgrade, and/or they're saving the all body color look for the X2 with the more powerful engine.

So far, the M Sport package is not available in North America. However, my dealer had a few, which were early production vehicles for the launch. I agree that the M Sport package looks better. I chose Mineral Grey colour because the M Sport X trim actually looks good with it. IMO, it's the only colour that allows the grey trim to kind of disappear into.

The cladding looks like hell, trying to make it look like a Subaru or Jeep on something that will never get off pavement. Bad marketing decision for the US. I’d get an X1 Msport just to avoid the black/gray cladding.

My GF has had an X2 with sport package as a loaner for the last week. I really like it and can’t wait to learn more about the upcoming more powerful engine version when it ultimately launches. X2 drives SO much better than the X1.

I did notice that the gray plastic trim on the XSport is actually smooth and painted while the trim on the standard X2 is rough and unpainted. They did this on the original X3 in 2004 and try getting wax off it, immediately turns white and adds 1/2 hour plus waxing your car.

Lucky downunder we get the Msport and Msport X... I'm leaning towards the Msport without the grey bits. I didn't mind them on the sides and rear, but didn't like that goatee beard look on the front
But unfortunately downunder we only get the lower-power 2.0 litre petrol with 190bhp, not 225bhp And fwd only (on petrol). Diesel comes with awd. I think this is the same in all RHD markets looking at UK, Malaysia, Singapore websites...
