What front end work requires alignment? (re control arms)

So while doing my water pump I saw what looked like a bit of liquid coming from the front control arm on the right. Guess I should be looking into those as well.

I was going to order them as they are cheap enough and look super simple to swap out but I have a road trip coming up next weekend so I wanted to pre-plan.

It looks like the only adjustment I can identify is within the tie rod ends. Would going stock to stock old to new control arms (everything else being stock as well) require I get it in to get it aligned or are those all fixed points?

I know in the old days with the 3 point front ends they basically said get it aligned if you sneezed on it but this doesnt look like, save for something being damaged (save for that bad bushing/bearing mine all look pristine), it could end up out of alignment. But if I need to Id like to book now so I know I can get it in ASAP after doing the work.

(hoping this isnt like an oil discussion)

I just replaced the thrust and control arms and left the steering tie rod ends alone. I didn't do an alignment after and it was fine. Better handling feel but no issues with alignment.

You must've nailed the eyeball alignment of your tie rod ends, because my tires squealed alllll the way to the alignment shop.

If you don't move the tie rods I don't see why they would need to be adjusted again.

Think "left the tie rods alone" means he didn't change those.

That is kind of my thought. Im using stock parts replacing non-bent stock parts and its 4 fixed points of contact so Im optimistic it should just be plug and play, just wanted to get experiences from those who have done just that.
