MAF sensor troubles?
Guys, help me out. Today, i was installing new LED angel eyes. The damn airbox was in my way so i removed it. I had to unplug the MAF sensor. Put in my lights and everything, hooked up the intake and plugged the sensor back in. Now my car runs like shit and it smells like sewage. It was running perfectly before. What the hell? The one thing i have noticed is that the MAF has 5 prongs, however, my harness that goes to the car, only has 4. You know those little copper thingys were the prongs attach to? Did i lose one when i disconnected it, or is it a 4 prong harness. I'm at a loss, car was perfectly fine before i disconnected the MAF. Where did i go wrong?

Funny, my X3 had some sort of a murmur while idling this morning, it would grumble for a split second, like every 30 maybe. Anyways, I pulled the MAF and cleaned it, put it back in and the problem seems to have stopped. I don't know if cleaning yours will solve whatever you've got going on man, but eff it, try and see what happens.
