2aa4 and P13BA

Hi all,

I think this is a common issue but I've searched and searched and can't find a resolution. I have an e90 335 '08

I got code 2aa4 and P13ba. Inlet cam position and tooth skip error. It also causes 3100 which is limp mode.

Replaced the sensor and same problem. Has anyone resolved this and can definitively suggest a solution?

Seems like it has sometimes been caused by a repair but for me this came out of nowhere. When I start the car everything seems fine but about 30 seconds in the check engine half yellow comes on and car goes into limp mode.

Appreciate any help on this.
