Rear Rotor Help

Update:
Apparently inside the rotor (outer edge) was rusted and warped. Inner rust made it very hard to remove rotor without damaging the handbrake. I used a L shaped screw hooks to remove some of the rust and rotor was out.

>>I am changing my rear rotors+pads on my E90 323i. The rotor is completely loose and I can freely rotate it and move it out by 1/4 inch. I hear a spring >>compressing then rotor stops moving. Handbrake is not pulled, Any Ideas?

>>Cheers
