M3 challenger is here! Guess which car...
The challenger to the M3 has arrived! Boy, these are intimidating pictures. A whole fleet of Godzillas, uhm I mean GTRs, unloaded at the pier.
Found these pics on autospies.com. Even though the GTR outpowers the M3, Car and Driver did rank the M3 1st place in their comparison test against the GTR and 911TT. YES!

repost...
GT-R is in my opinion a completely different market than the M3. I would never want a GT-R outside of a track.

Won't be long until we see this on the road, driven by the Fast and the Furious crowd.

It's unfortunate that Nissan is creating scarcity by artificially limiting production. I'd buy one in addition to the M3.

That's horseshit. I hardly see M3s on the road even though BMW sells more of them and we can have it for MSRP or lower. I think Nissan's strategy is to artificially control the supply to make it seem like an exotic. It's not, it's just a really fucking good Nissan. Make more so the rest of us will buy them.

I was wondering how much they would charge for the V-spec version.

It is fugly. Would be a blast to drive in a spirited fashion, but it sounds like a bad daily driver.

I just don't think I would enjoy the overall experience nearly as much as an M3. Aesthetics play a big part of the ownership experience, and other than the rear and roofline, I'm not a fan of the GT-R. I'm not worried about having the fastest thing on four wheels anyways, and when you don't use launch control on the GT-R (which they don't recommend using too frequently), the numbers become much more human.

They all look the same color -- mediocre gray. Why no red? I saw a video (or pic, can't remember) on the internet of a red one. That looked hot!
