BMW Remote App - Canada - Navigation not working?

This is for the Canadian folks out there, since we're not on the updated BMW Connected App that the US and UK use.

Does anyone use the BMW Remote App to specify a destination and send to vehicle? Has it stopped working for the past 3 to 4 weeks? I can't seem to get it to end a destination to my vehicle.

All other functions like honk the horn, blink lights and precondition are all working. Just not navigation.

I’ve only had my vehicle for two weeks but never been able to get it to work. That being said I usually just Apple map things and then open that up in the bmw nav via CarPlay.

Not holding my breath. The current apps are abysmal and BMW should be ashamed for pushing out this sort of crap

So... what your saying is August 20never?

Sweet! Let me pencil that in...

It's so open-ended, it might as well be a black hole at this point. We still dont even have the same basic tracking options as the US.

Something weird is that every time I open BMW Remote App for the last 1-2 weeks, there's now this new notification with a link to Google Play store's BMW Connected app.
Then I click on it to go to the app's download page, then it says 'not available in your country'.

I agree that it is frustrating. What is worse is that BMW Canada believes that they can remove features after delivery. An example is the wifi hotspot. I had it and after a service visit it was gone. They now refuse to put it back.

Maps are not working for me either.

Remote app is working otherwise. ConnectedApp won't accept my VIN.

The BMW Connected app has been updated the past 2 months with support for new countries. So I am hopeful Canada will be in Q3 as I heard late last year

The problem is not related to the App though.
Canada has been using an incompatible system, so they have to implement a new one from the grounds up. And hopefully, they can get it done this year.

Canadian BMW Connected app is now available in Canadian App store but not in Android. Everything seems to be working except Remote 3d view is not working for me.
