When I first saw the F30 shift knob, I thought it might be a good retrofit for my E90, but I was busy doing other things to my car so this went to the bottom of the list. Well I finally got around to it. I was hoping it would be an easy swap and it was. It snaps on just like the original. All I had to do was separate the F30 knob from its boot. I like this shift knob better than the other options. I like the way it matches my silver trim, it's much shorter than the original, no hard edges, comfortable. Looks like it belongs in the car. You can see before and after. Found it used for $64 plus shipping.

Nice knob, its just personal preference, but i have found my M3 leather knob for 20 bucks and it feels so smooth and nice, but this looks classy
