Problem with my sunroof

I have a 2007 328i with 10K miles and yesterday when I hopped in my car and started it I saw a warning indicator that looked like the top of the car with the sunroof open. I surmised it had something to do with the sunroof and unfortunately I was right. My sunroof will not open when pushing backwards on the switch. It will open upwards if I continue holding the button. Anyone ever hear of this or had this same problem? I am heading down to the dealership tomorrow to have it looked at but figured I would post anyway to see if anyone had a similar issue.

It should fix it, no need for a trip to the dealer

no problems! it took me a few days to find out, until i called up my dealer and spoke with the Service Advisor, its a common problem with new bimmers and the fix is the same for all of them!
