E92 08 328xi performance upgrades...anyone help

ive been looking everywhere and calling many places to find out about an intake for the 08 328xi coupe. i have found an AFE intake model number 54-11012. but no one seems to know anything about an intake for this car. i have seen the dinan but it is very expensive with very low horsepower gains. if anyone out there with a 08 328xi coupe has done any engine mods please let me know of if they know about an intake for this car. i have done alot of research and came up with dead ends and conflicting statements about yes it will work and no they dont make one yet..

Search "Simota intake" on this forum. Hopefully you will find more info there. Alot of people on this forum are knowledgable and experienced with performance mods. Personally I dont know SH about intakes, but from what I have read the 328 is expensive to mod for low HP gains. Not worth it IMO. good luck!

Does the Vishnu intake work on the 328, or only the 335?

I am not sure about the 328xi but in the case of the 330xi the simota intake and the gruppe m replica will not fit cause the fan on the 330xi is bigger.

Trade it in for a 335i! That's the best performance upgrade I can think of for you!

I had an AFE intake for my car for about a week and ended up returning it... It kept setting off the CEL (check engine light)... Do some research here and you'll find quite a few people with the same complaints.. Apparently, the location of the MAF sensor on the intake tube is in a bad place where a lot of turbulence takes place.

I think the N54 upgrade would serve you well.
