2011 E93 335i M-sport wheel spacer width?

Long story short, my dealer must've removed the wheel locks and now I'm running with 4 bolts each...
I'm looking at getting a set of spacers as well as wheel stud conversion
Going for ECS tuning studs and they ask you to choose studs that fits up to 10mm spacer or 20mm spacer

How wide can spacers on these wheels be? It's a LCI E93, 335i, with M sports suspension

I have the stock 193M wheels with 225 front 255 rear

I got away with 12.5mm F and 15mm R. ExtremeContact DWS06's rubbed just slightly over very hard bumps when I had people in the back, but it has stopped.

Go for the up to 20mm option for sure.. if you plan on getting spacers that is.

I have the LCI model which I believe already has wider track (Correct me if not?)
20mm would be impossible I think

Is there a thing that the hubcentric lips are tall on these wheels and it's not good to use 10mm spacers?

Yes, 10mm spacers are a no-go for E9x BMW's.. if you want to do it right. As you understand, the hub/wheel-centric lip on the hub is about 10mm, so with a 10mm spacer there is no way for the spacer to be both hub-centric as well as wheel-centric ("extending" the hub's center into the wheel).

The reason I say go for the up to 20mm stud option is because you will surely be able to use larger than a 10mm spacer, at least on the rear axle. I have 20mm spacers on my rear axle, but I'm an LCI coupe and, while I cannot confirm, people here have posted that the sedans/coupes LCI/pre-LCI can have different track and/or body widths.

Oh haha I thought you meant 20mm spacer, I think I'll go home and measure it maybe to see how much room I have

Don't be too scared of larger spacers. I initially went 18mm because of what the general consensus here was.. only to immediately change to 20mm. Many here are quite conservative. Unfortunately, sometimes trial and error is the only way to get it perfect. On my LCI E92, 20mm is the perfect width for non-rolled fenders, IMO. Any more and it would rub. I confirm this by compressing the suspension so that the wheels are up in the fenders and then checking clearance.

When I put the stock wheels on during the winter, I have 12mm front and 18mm rear on both my pre-LCI e90 and my wife's LCI e90. Places them nicely.

Why are you doing the stud conversion? The spacers from ECS Tuning come with proper-length lug bolts. Unless you remove and reinstall the wheels every week, I can't imagine it would make a time difference either, plus bolts look cleaner.

Oh I had no clue that they looked too different...
Yeah now I guess chrome lug bolts are nice too

+1. I ran 12.5 front, 15 rear and had no rub with OEM Bridgestones. Had a rub with 265 PSS's, so I pulled the spacers. Will go back to 255 with 15mm spacer when these tires are shot.

Car is 2011 MSport.

E90 is different with E92/93 tho...That's why I'm so confused about all the different spacers

On my 2008 E93 I ran 15mm rears with the OEM Bridgestones on the 18 OEM 193M wheels, when I switched to Michelin PS2's they rubbed a tiny bit and I switched to 12.5mm spacers in the rear as the PS2's are just a touch wider.

Hope that helps - I don't run any spacers up front.
