power of attorney should be fine; going to be alot easier to have her there in person imo. you have the title in hand yeah?
i wouldn't even try power of attorney if you aren't holding the title. (aka finance).

Did she sign where the "transfer title" section is? If so, you should be fine...

In NJ, my wife had to be present to sign over her car for my BMW. Not sure if this was required or the dealer was making things up.

You should be fine, I just went through this as my dad's name was also on the title to my first car. He lives in Colorado. They just faxed him the power of attorney form and he sent it back with his signature. They took care of it all when I went in to do all the financial paperwork. They'll call to let them know they're sending the form, but it shouldn't be any problem if your aunt isn't there in person.
