Satellite View on maps.....

Hi,

Have to vent.

Begin Rant.

My M2 did not show the satellite detail below 1 mile resolution on the maps. That stinks as I used the satellite detail on my A8L at max resolution to see good places to park when going to an new area. Our Q7 also shows the detail all the way down to max zoom.

Now I find the M5 has this same FLAW. WTF? The data is there for higher detail at higher resolutions on the map, zoomed all the way in, but BMW drops the satellite image after you zoom to 1 mile level.

BLOWS.

End rant.

Mike

I find the satellite images were very useful for hunting a parking spot. The Audi's have ground view also so you can look around, works great. Miss that feature. Come on BMW don't let Audi do one up on you!

Parknow is a feature in the connecteddrive page.
Create an account and log in. Not helpful in my slow little town but maybe in busier areas it will be.
