Vrsf coupler touching oil lines ok?

Just installed 7in vrsf intercooler, and noticed that the 90 degree coupler on the driver side is pushed up against some of the oil lines. I understand I can cut off an inch of two off the coupler to make it fit proper, but will running it likes this be an issues in the meantime / does that oil line get hot enough the melt into the coupler?

Thanks!

I don't think the oil in the lines would melt the coupler, but I wouldn't want anything rubbing up against them for fear of wear through and leakage.

True, I'm just going to run it for a few days until I have time to get back down there then I will take the ic and coupler out so I can cut it down. Just wish I would have known to cut it before installing everything.

That's not installed properly. Move the coupler closer towards the intercooler, it shouldn't rub on anything.

It’s as far up on the intercooler as it can be, but I assume I can probably just push it up further on the lower charge pipe then?

Thanks!

If it’s all the way up on the intercooler you can trim 1/4” off that section to make it sitting closer to the front of the car. We always included more coupler than less coupler since you can always trim but you can’t add on.

Thanks!
I had the same issue installing mine over the weekend, you just need to push the coupler further up on the lower charge pipe.

Ended up cutting about an inch off, and now it fits great. Thanks though!
