My next mod....Which should I choose?

At this moment I can only do one, and with both I already have the parts just a matter of install.
Choices are
A) AA ceramic coated headers, which would complete my whole exhaust system (With a tune of course)
B) M3 front/rear sways, front control arms and bushings.

Decisions Decisions....curious which would you choose?

No sense in adding power, if the suspension can't handle the power

I look at it differently. For me the header install was tougher and longer, I would prefer to get the tougher job done first.

The suspension was actually a pleasant install with no surprises or issues. And I did mine over 2 days the front on one day the rear on another. You can drive the car with just one end done no worries, and it’s not as potentially frustrating as the headers.

I like to get the tough jobs out of the way ASAP lol

Thanks guys, I see both your points.

Question....if while doing the headers is that a good time to do the front sway/suspension stuff since car will be up in the air? I know the rear is more of a PIA.

I would say yes but the headers install is a pretty full day, like 5-8 hour install depending on your skill, tool selection, and the help you have. Adding that front suspension at that time makes total sense and probably adds 2-3 hours to it.

Thanks, that’s what will probably happen...kill 2 birds with one stone. I’ll do the rear sway separately

As much fun as headers are, they really helped show where my suspension is worn lol

he has a 328 , so I m sure the suspension can handle 20 hp more

I would go with A , the car really wakes up with headers and it makes it so much fun to drive

Once you complete that, move on with suspension

I have m3 arms and supersprint headers.

I recommend m3 arms first which makes the car more precise to drive.

Headers dont make a huge difference i felt

I pick option A if the car is a daily driver.

Option B is good if you constantly drive the car at the limits ALL THE TIME (AKA Track). I feel like suspension upgrades are not worth it if its just a DD. The power upgrades are actually more usable for DD.

Also AA headers + BPC tune, you're looking at 20 whp gain. Which IS definitely noticeable.

My dream set up would be AA headers + MILVs + resonator delete + BPC tune + Rennsport steering wheel. I already have Rogue Ikon exhaust, BMS PBX, and 3IM since my car is an N51.

Just the front arms. No sways. The rear arms are not necessary according to an expert on 1addicts.

I may add sways one day. The coilovers are stiff enough for now.

Thanks for all the input guys! I’m definitely leaning towards the AA header install and retune. Car is not a DD, but I have decided not to track her (not worth risk, doing M Track day instead).

Living in Florida, most all roads are flat/straight. So suspension stuff can wait.

I appreciate all the feed back I will update with Header/Tune results!

Good choice. Are you getting AA tune or BPC tune to go with that AA header?

I already have the AA tune from last year when I did the 3SIM, I was thinking to stick with AA since it will just be a retune. I have thought about the BPC tho 🤔

There seems to plus and minus to either.
