Buddy just picked up this gem: http://www.dreamautosales.org/inventory/335i-2/
I think he got hell of a deal: 2008 E92 Sparkling Gray on Black leather sport package 1 owner 56K miles manual no accidents Always maintained by dealer upgraded OEM turbos Never driven in winter What say you? |

Seems high. Probably a Michigan supply/demand price. My BMW dealer has a fully loaded (sport premium and nav) 2011 with 40k mi LISTED for 18,000.

I bought my 2010 E92, 335i, LeMans blue/black interior w/brushed aluminum, MSport, CA... with 49k at the end of last December for $13,450. I was searching for a couple of months, and couldn't find one at that price unless it had twice the miles, locally.

I personally have yet to see another N54 manual E9X with that low of miles in that price point in this region. Anything in the $10-13K range is normally slushbox with 90-120k driven in winters. |

I think that’s a decent price considering the car as a whole. I would pay a few thousand more for a clean one owner car with low miles vs the average car. Blue book doesn’t take into consideration all those variables.
You could easily spend $5k in repairs on a poorly maintained cheap 335 within 6 months of the purchase, and then where are the “savings”? |

This seems to me like a poor deal...very expensive for such an old car. But then again maybe because is an european car in North America. In the UK this would be considerably cheaper

i think its a good deal for a N54 for that low of mileage and all dealer maintained. In the used car market, there more of a premium for the N54 engines vs n55 since most of the people buying these cars as 2nd or 3rd owners are car enthusiasts. He's also paying a premium for the low mileage, average 2008 is going to have 100k+ by now.

Buying it with less than 60k miles your still going to run in leaks cause most of the car still is the same as factory so most likely you will be spending 5k on maintence

Just because you can get +100k mile E90 that seen decade of winter for $9k doesn't mean you are getting a deal when it's a worm out hooptie |
