They also look very delicate. I hope you have deep pockets, because I bet you'll go through at least one set.

I know it's good to have all the pipes on headers equal length, but isn't that too many curves? I'm not an expert on fluid dynamics but I do know that curves are bad for flow. So even though these header might have equal length pipes aren't all the sharp curves having a negative effect on flow?

These are the stock aluminum headers that come with the car. It has just as many bends as the ericsson's.

But I read somewhere that titanium is 60% heavier that aluminum, there should not be any weight savings with the ericsson's.Just the opposite.I didn't know the stock headers were aluminum.

Yes, titanium is denser than aluminum (4.5 g/cm^3 vs. 2.7 g/cm^3), but you need to take the wall thickness of the tubes into account.

Stock headers are made of steel and not aluminum.
So the titanium ones should be much lighter.

Best Regards, Maika

If they are Ericsson, my bet is that these headers are $15k. For just the headers.

You could buy a Toyota Yaris for less than that...

Thats what I figured because the stock headers and exhaust should be the same material.I had gotten wrong info from a source. So these ericsson should be about half the weight of the stainless steel ones.

Thatīs right.
First of all aluminum cannot withstand such high temperatures. Steel can.

Titanium should be less then half the weight of the steel.

Best Regards, Maika
