Question about xdrive - can you still hoon around

So I know the system splits 40/60 front rear but let's say you're at an event and you can donuts, can xdrive 335i still do it? With traction off, will it always keep it's 40/60 split?

Fuck the seller or dealer. Test drive it the way you want to. While you're at it, curb his wheels and open the door into a fire hydrant. Then give them a low ball offer.

no, the system is always active, even with DSC turned off.
if you want to do burnouts don't by xdrive.
if you want to launch the car hard from a dig, buy xdrive.

I didn't say I wanted to do burnouts, I wanted to do donuts. There's is a big difference.

worst case...you can always disconnect the harness to the front transfer case and temporary convert it to rwd.

You're going to have a hard time doing donuts in an AWD car engineered to prevent you from doing that very thing.

Sure if you try hard enough, but it's still heavier and less responsive than RWD.

as a burnout is generally required to do proper donuts, you figure it out.

I think you need an RWD with LSD, not XI.
