2011 BMW E90 335i Car Dies no idea why help
I have a E90 335i with a N55 Engine and i bought the car with some damage the main point of the damage was the wheel well. I had a shop fix up everything for me and when i got the car back i go to start the car it won't. So i bought a new battery still no luck and then i hooked up a battery jumper to the front of the car and the car started right away after idling perfectly for about 5 mins the car starts to tweak out with abs turning on and a transmission malfunction and a battery icon and dies. Does this everytime i start it. If anyone can help that would be great. Thank you

You have an electrical fault and will need to read the code from the computer with a specialized BMW code reader (not just OBDII).
I would suggest you find a specialist, independent BMW shop and have them diagnose the car. Without the codes, you don't have enough information to start.

Hi there,
If you say you bought the car with a damage, i assume some kind of accident / car crash, then you might want to check the positive pyrotechnic red cable, as its purpose is to launch and get separate within, in case of crash, so that the car doesn't get on fire. |
