Buying 325i Sport...couple questions
1) I searched but couldn't find an answer, but how many keys do these BMWs come with. The owner said one key fob and one flip out manual key. Can anyone verify this?
2) Also the tires were replaced with the OEM runflats and have about 13,000 miles now. Is it normal for these tires to produce a howling noise at 35 mph? 3) The hood was a little loose when shut, but when it is shut really hard it stays tight when closed. This seemed to be a problem with a friend's e46 330i, but what about the e90s? Thanks for your time guys! |

13K seems about right to have the RFT's start making noises. Think about non-RFT's when you decide to replace them. All tires make more noise when the tread wears.
The hood needs a drop from about 6 inches above closed to fully latch. You should get four keys: 2 electric fobs, 1 valet fob, and one emergency plastic key. The plastic key fits in the valet fob to allow the valet fob to start the car. Also the electric fobs have a metal emergency key that slides into the body of the fob. This metal key will open the doors, trunk, and can lock the glove box. |
