Will the HUD be available for the M2 Competition ?

Can anyone confirm if Heads Up Display will be an option on the new M2? I'm hoping it has the same cool engine RPM display like the M3 and M4!

Definitely not.
The closest you can get is that little BMW accessory that Mini uses as their HUD
and that thing is just awful.

That's too bad it's such a great option, fell in love with it on the M3 and 4's

They would probably have it as standard in the CS or GTS models if they happen. Seems to be BMW's marketing mantra in trickling down features from the M4.

My #1 gripe about my LCI is no HUD.

Otherwise the car is spectacular.

There are threads about this topic. BMW has stated that their HUD won't fit in the 2-series.
There are many options and features that didn't make it into the 2-series, things like top view and side view cameras, blindspot radar, stereo equalizer, more speakers, larger screen, paint colors. Sometimes these features trickle down some years after release in the more premium models, like LED lights for example. But sometimes they dont. BMW did manage to add ASD - which has been such a blessing.

Had it in my F30. Took about a month to get used to it, and then I really liked it. Missed it at first in the M2...now don't miss it at all...especially since I'm past break in

I've has it on service loaners.
Never cared for it.
As a military pilot, a HUD is useful when you have so many systems to monitor and cross-check while maintaining 3-dimensional situational awareness outside of the cockpit.
On a car it's just another annoying tech gadget of dubious usefulness.
My useless $.02

Ya, they said they couldn't fit front parking sensors on the M2 due to the air curtain so they must have worked night and day to add them to the M2C!

100% agree. Have it on my current DD never use it. When I was doing certain things in the military the HUD on my equipment was awesome. But for a car, marginal usefulness
