To those of you who have switched out your oem seats for race seats, how were you able to code out the airbag and seatbelt warnings? I disabled the thorax airbags, seat occupancy sensor, and seat belt warnings through esys. The warning for airbags still show up on idrive and the dash. The seat belt light is also illuminated on the dash. I used the foxwell to clear codes but that didn't work at all.

Needs ISTA to clear the codes, I retrofitted a set recently to an F20. You must also transfer the seatbelt pre-tensioners to the new seats and wire them in.

I got it figured out via esys. It did require the Foxwell/Schwaben tool to clear the code though. And yes, the seat belt tensioner was transferred and wired in appropriately.
