Alexa considered for future inclusion on the M2 Competition

Talked to BMW NA yesterday on two issues. I asked if they had a release date on ordering the m2 cs, they said not available at this time. The second question was if Alexa is being considered for inclusion on the car. They did state that by mid-year, that this feature should be available and they have a task force working on it, she contacted them to confirm. They once again, could not give a specific date on this inclusion. There have been other articles on this on numerous web sites that say the same thing. May be a nice feature for the car. Comments?

The best person to ask would be Alexa. If she's not being straight with you, check with Siri, and as a last resort, ask Bixby.

How would there be a release date on a car they have not even announced?

I work in IT and don't use Siri, Alexa, Google, Cortana, etc. If you have to ask why it's already too late.

Is this thread serious? Alexa in an M2?

OP should be buying a M5 or even a Lexus not an M2.

I would purchase this M2 without idrive/navigation if I could.

Did BMW figure out how to write usable software? I would be pleasantly surprised. All those iDrives I saw are plain garbage with lots of annoying small bugs. I'd rather use my cell phone instead.
