How to read logs? +Help with code I'm pulling!
Hey all, I see a lot of posts about people asking others to look at their logs, etc, but not a lot of guides for a total noob like myself. I want to be self sufficient enough to check my own logs and identify any obvious problems. I don't really even know where to start though.
What app should I use? I have an E92 N55, and have already purchased Carly. I've also purchased MHD Stage 1+, but didn't buy the extra MHD package for logs, thinking I could do it with my Pro version of Carly? I'm concerned about common things I've heard of: IAT's (what temps should I monitor in general??), boost pressure, leaks, if I'm running too rich or lean, etc. I think being able to understand and track this kind of stuff will help me keep on top of maintenance for the car. Side note: I'm getting weird fluctuations at idle, stuttering between 650-800 since I went MHD Stage 1+ and xHP Stage 3. Carly is giving me the following code: "Code: 0036BE" DME, coding: missing or wrong chassis number. I'm at 45k miles, spark plugs, coil packs and oil change recently done, Stage 1+ currently stock, have a ARM FMIC and ER charge pipe on the way, though.
