Porsche, no doubt.

Did weigh the 335i vs the Z4M (they're being whored out) and ended up with the 335i, in part because I knew I could ultimately make the 335i faster at far less cost.

335i for lower operating costs. Mz4 and Porsche are 1 occupant cars for the most part and expensive to maintain (assuming you're keeping).

Is this serious? I guess if it were a 996 we were talking about, i'd maybe think twice. But after driving a 997S (rwd) with only 7000 miles on the clock, it is officially my favorite car under $200k

+1 If it was a 996, maybe I'd pause for a second. But a 997S?

it's no contest, Porsche hands-down.

I know it is not in the choice but I would go M3 over all the ones you mentionned.

z4m, they are going for 5-6k off sticker, and i would slap an AA supercharger on there.

I heard Porsche are cheaper to maintain than BMW, is this true? My CPA just bought his wife a Porsche Carrera S Cabrio and he says maintenance on it is a lot cheaper than his 545i, he didn't clarify though.. any thoughts?

I'm confused. What do you mean by Z4M? Is that the M body Z4 I guess? The reason I doubt this is that car doesn't seem to fit the mold of the other two.

As an only car for year round? The 335i. With weather, gas prices and just practicality, the 335 offers more.

Yep. Obviously, having four seats is not necessarily a prerequisite since a Porsche's back seats are best used for a briefcase or a gym bag.

My last two cars were two-seaters, so I couldn't have given a crap about four seats, much less four doors. Which is why the Z4M was up for my consideration.

My Porsche has been the least expensive car to maintain and it is 17 years old. Yes parts are expensive, but they are built really well. Go for the P-car!
