Where to get brighter yellow/orange angel eyes, do they exist?

So I finally figured out that I can keep my angel eyes on without my DRL on by changing the settings in the BC and flipping my light toggle to the right 2 times.

I always thought you had to code them to use angels as DRL, but apparently not.

Anyway, I'm obsessed with how cool they look but the stock halogen angels are just not bright enough to be seen in the sunlight. I want to get LEDs but there's just one problem...

I actually like the yellow/orange colored angel eyes better than the white LED angel eyes. Does anyone make Yellow/Orange LED angel eyes?

I like the yellow/orange stock color angel eyes because it stands out more and fits our generation of cars better.

I don't know about the yellow or orange...but LUX angel eyes are the best! I found they were about the same price as OEM angel eye bulbs for my E91 (~$125/pair) & they look WAAAYYYY whiter & brighter!

I'm with you, op, I like my stock yellow halos because they're different than all the bright white everyone else has. I think they're brighter than you think. Squat down and look at them straight on vs standing up.

Yea, i wish they had the LUX V7 in the stock yellow/orange color. I searched through all of eBay and Amazon and couldn't find anything.

The yellow/orange just "pops" more in day and night time.

Once I swapped my stock angel eye bulbs for LEDs, I've had to change them out at least a dozen times. I have used everything from cheap eBay LEDs to the outrageously expensive LEDs and I haven't found anything as of yet that would last more than 6 months or so before at least one would go out and result in the annoying warning chime on the iDrive for a bulb malfunction. Granted they look nice for a while, it's been a trade off. I've become quite the pro at pulling back the wheel well lining and popping off those bulb cover tabs! It's gotten to the point that both are out right now and I haven't even thought about changing them again yet.

2 questions...

1) I didn't know our cars angel eye bulbs were H8 size? All the angel eye bulbs for sale by LUX look like a different shape.

2) From the amazon link, it looks like they are halogens? $69 for halogens seem steep. How long does yours last?

where in hell do you find H8 bulbs costing about the same as $125 LED and actually telling yourself that you made a good deal

OP, I have played with few LED for angels from e-bay and they can't compete with H8 bulb despite of how they look like in the pictures. For the high end LED that they advertise here i have no experience as I could not justify the cost.
At the end regular H8 or higher end H8 for more white in it is all you need for day time running angels. We have mandatory DRL and my car Bi-xenons factory installed and angels are the only DRL available and they are plenty bright for nice bright day to be visible

uhh..I have halogens so it might be different. But also I only want the angels on and not the DRLs. Kind of defeats the purpose if I have to keep the DRLs on to make the Angels a tad bit brighter. Thanks for the pics tho, your car looks nice. I wish I had the xenons.

I apologize if I didn't make it clear in my original posting, but I have halogen reflector headlights. So those LUX Gold will not work in my car.
