Quad tips help!
Sup guys I'm at a loss here I just recently picked up a DD quad diffuser (58 cm) and I don't know what to do about tips. I've heard 3" outlets work but also 3.5" fits. I want them to fill the space well like not too small but also don't want them to be bunched together , anybody with this diffuser want to drop some pics or some insight?

Well... Kudos to you for being patient with them.
I had my bonnet and deck lid wayyy before the tiny diffuser. Was planning to use Remus' setup. Which I did, but on a custom cut out diffuser (OEM Diffuser for the 335) I can run outside with a ruler, if you'd like, and snap a pic for ya! Then you can get yourself a rough baseline (for lack of a better term...) and then plan accordingly.

I suggest hitting up the general forum. Many more 335 guys will have that diffuser I'm thinking...

I think 3.5" would do the trick. What tips did you go with and have you installed them?

I have 3.5" on my n54 with a similar spoiler but it is made for single tips. Yours looks like it is made for quads. Most exhaust shops have tons of tips in stock. Just have them cut off yours and hold up the various tips and pick the ones you want.
Quad will probably work best. |
