N52 Long Crank

Hello friends, how are you? My name is Luiz and I'm from Brazil, I'm facing a problem on my 325i 2011 with N52 engine. Gradually a long start, I have measured the fuel pressure regulator, spark plugs and coils all in order. The battery is new, the problem does not happen every time, but most of the time when the engine is hot and off is about thirty minutes, when I start, it takes three seconds. What can it be? Sorry if this topic has already been created. I'm very worried.

You might consider checking the grounds from the engine to the chassis. I read on here that someone solved their long crank issue that way. I believe they tested the grounding issue by using a jumper cable from the engine to a ground point on the chassis

It was me, I had a slow crank problem. It was my ground cable and starter.

Your crank sounds very healthy. Scan INPA for codes

Check the battery and put a full charge on it first.
Then the other stuff.
My starts were sluggish at the end of the battery life.
If it is more sluggish on the first start of the day it indicates
the battery is loosing charge overnight.

yeah, and as I stated, my long cranks were the starter.

have you tested the starter?
checked all of the primary battery wiring? Checked the ground straps? Checked the voltage while cranking?

it's not rocket surgery here, it's a 12V motor.

Hi friend, thanks for the support, I discovered the problem. I always fueled my car at a reliable gas station, so I decided to change, and voila, it was the fuel.
