E92 335xi, anyone have one or seen one?
I have only seen a couple of E92 328xi's but have not seen a 335xi.
I was thinking about getting a 2009 E92 335xi and was wondering how present owners like theirs?

Been driving one for about 2 weeks and could not be happier. The xi is a little higher than the i, but it helps driving around NYC with the crappy roads. I know I'll be even happier when I use the car to hit the slopes this winter.

I have one since nov 2007. very happy with it. I imported it from the US/NY states.
17" wheels is the max I can get on crappy roads we have in Quebec. if you drive in snow, buy snow tires. |

Thanks Guys.
I love the coupe and in my area x-drive would certainly be a plus, I would rather buy used but I haven't seen any E92 335xi's on the road let alone find one used. So I will buy new and get to design the car with the options and color I want unless I go with a used E92 328xi which seem to pop up now and then.

I have had mine since Oct 2007, and just yesterday passed the 10,000 mile mark. Like others have said, my only complaint is the jacked up front end, but then again that comes with the XI. It is a great car for a daily driver, but if its going to be a weekend car, i might lean towards the 335I

MT, it will certainly be a rare car. No sports package? Good luck with your new toy.

I have never seen a 335xi. Or a 328xi for that matter. Or snow (at least not for a few years).

I'm madly in love with mine. Ride height issues go away with larger wheels. The optics of the larger wheel in the well really make it much better.
Some of hte shots of people with their 17" wheels though look pretty rough. I got the 18" sport wheels, and am very pleased. With my summer 19" setup, it's even better. Last edited by AWD Addict; 06-11-2008 at 01:47 PM.. |

Had mine since May 19th, 2008. Completely satisfied so far. Will be moving to Cleveland, OH this month and will need the x-drive for lake effect snowfalls. Didn't think I'd ever be looking forward to snow- but I am!
Here's a picture for those who've not seen one, along with a close-up of the 17 inch wheels you get with the Sport package.

Could not agree more! In the snow, the car is amazing. I had 162's (18") wrapped with Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D's. Great setup IMO. Don't really have much to compare it too though. Shoot me a PM if you have any other questions. Noticed you were in chicago!!

weingarm, you will love the snow. I used to hate driving in it. This winter I couldn't wait for the snow to come. Great car. Better in the snow than my old tahoe.
