Exhaust Clip - FBO BMW 435i - VRSF Catless DP

Figured I'd contribute to our wonderful section and add an exhaust clip of my FBO 435i, with catless DP + stock exhaust (resonator + muffler). I actually have a carbon fiber diffuser and a set of burnt titanium quad tips on the way for a custom muffler delete lol.

I think the catless DP + stock exhaust sounds pretty good!

That sounds great!

I've been listening to exhaust clips of various setups and I think the two best setups are as follows.

1. Catless downpipe with stock resonator and muffler
2. No muffler with stock cat and resonator.

A catless downpipe always sounds raspy when further mods are done. I think the stock resonator is a must to keep the raspiness down.

Thank you! I'll update this thread in a week or two hopefully when I get my muffler delete setup. Catless DP + stock exhaust sounds really good and is the perfect volume level for most people IMO. I like loud exhausts, though, so I have to atleast try out the muffler delete with this setup

Sounds good man, my opinion:

Catless dp with modified stock exhaust + resonator sounds perfect for the money it costs.
i also was looking around a long time for a new exhaust, but the prices damn.
and if you want a good decent sound (my taste)
you have to go to a Meisterschaft or the more expensive 1's so.

Here is a soundclip of my modified stock exhaust with catless dp.
sounds good for me!
(modified means, catback is empty, and the perforated holls are welld)

sorry for my bad english!

Can I piggyback as well?

Here is a catless DP, MPE exhaust mic'd up and some MHD burbles.

Fast forward to about 1:10 and 1:55'ish for WOT noises...

Sounds great! If I could weld or had a friend who could help, modifying the existing muffler would have been my top choice. Unfortunately, the only quote I got for muffler mod was $400 from a well known BMW shop here. Other muffler shops wanted nothing to do with it.
